Behavioral Health Care Specialist

We are hiring a Behavioral Health Care Specialist to work with our patients to assess and determine needs related to therapeutic interventions and appropriate follow up care, implement treatment plans, coordinate the treatment process and discharge planning. Responsibilities

• Assess and determine patient needs related to therapeutic interventions and appropriate follow‑up care
• Implement treatment plans
• Coordinate the treatment process
• Coordinate discharge planning

Requirements

• Education: 4‑year/Bachelor’s degree required; degree in social work, psychology, human services or similar health‑related field
• Experience: Minimum of one year experience preferred
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) to be completed within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units (required); Resuscitation Quality Improvement (required); Notary Public (preferred)

Skills

• Good working knowledge of computers
• Ability to care for Behavioral Health age‑specific populations

Schedule

6‑hour and 10‑hour shifts, Wednesday – Saturday
