Behavior Technician (RBT) - Center Based ABA

About the role

You will make a difference in children's lives every day while working in a supportive, team-focused environment and receive extensive training to become a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in our center using Applied Behavior Analysis and Precision Teaching principles
• Collaborate closely with your team to teach learners on the autism spectrum new adaptive behaviors, including language, functional communication, play skills, pro-social behaviors, and self-help skills
• Build strong, compassionate relationships with children and families
• Implement individualized treatment plans with supervision from a BCBA

Requirements

• Reliable, professional, and kind communication
• A high school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in psychology, education, or related fields is a plus

Qualifications

• Initial and ongoing training provided
• Ongoing skill development through in-person coaching from a mission-driven team
• Guaranteed hours for both full-time and part-time positions
• A consistent weekday schedule with no evening or weekend shifts
• Primary work at one center with minimal travel

Skills

Pay

$18.50 - $19.50 per hour (training), then $20.50 - $21.50 per hour (after training)

Schedule

Weekdays only, block schedules between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
