About the role

As a Behavior Specialist / Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at May Institute School for Autism and Developmental Disabilities, you'll work alongside a dedicated team of BCBAs who provide mentorship, consultation, and ongoing professional growth. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you'll develop individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and train staff to support school-aged children with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Train staff on best practices in behavior analysis and support
  • Mentor and consult with other BCBAs and educational staff
  • Participate in research activities and publish findings

Requirements

  • Master's degree in ABA, psychology, special education, or a related field
  • BCBA certification or must be in the process of obtaining certification
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, leadership, and clinical assessment
  • Passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Qualifications

Pay

  • Without BCBA certification: \$63,000 - \$73,000 annually
  • With BCBA certification: \$77,000 - \$87,000 annually

Schedule

  • Full-time position
