Behavior Consultant/Mobile Therapist

About the role

This is a hands-on position providing therapeutic services to children, youth, and families. Services are provided in home, community, and school settings.

Responsibilities

• Engage participants and families to offer personalized support and guidance
• Create and execute tailored treatment plans that address the unique needs of each individual and family
• Champion YAP's Philosophy, Mission, and Core Principles
• Provide therapeutic services to youth and families
• Work with at-risk youth and families

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• Strong clinical skills and training or course work in Behavioral Modification with one year of experience
• Licensed (LSW, LCSW, LPS, or LBSC) to work with children on the Autism Spectrum (Licensed compensated at a higher rate)
• Experience in providing therapeutic services to youth and families
• Experience working with at-risk youth and families
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required
