About the role
The Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) conducts assessments, develops individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans, supervises Behavior Technicians, and provides parent training within a multidisciplinary team focused on autism services.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments using tools like ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, and others.
- Create and implement evidence-based treatment plans for various settings, including center-based, in-home, community, and telehealth.
- Supervise and support Behavior Technicians through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Monitor client progress, analyze data, and make clinical recommendations.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, billing, and electronic health records.
- Collaborate with team members and ensure adherence to ethical standards, including BACB, Michigan LBA, and HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and BCaBA certification with a passing BACB exam score.
- Current Michigan LBA or eligibility to obtain.
- At least 2 years of ABA clinical experience in autism treatment across various settings.
- Valid driver’s license.
