Position Summary
Assists teachers, therapists, and counselors with administration of one-on-one intensive behavioral intervention therapy and tutoring to students in a school, home, or other setting. Performs a variety of activities in support of special instructional programs including special education, interagency, and District-wide subject matter.
Responsibilities
- Administer one-on-one intensive behavioral intervention therapy and tutoring to students
- Supports teachers, therapists, and counselors in the administration of intensive behavioral intervention therapy and tutoring
- Performs a variety of activities in support of special instructional programs including special education, interagency, and District-wide subject matter
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 48 college credit units that are degree eligible, plus one year of experience working within a classroom environment containing students with special needs
- Alternatively, high school diploma, passing of a competency exam, and three years of classroom experience
- May require a valid driver’s license
- Completion of ABA/DTT training

Pay
$24.04 - $31.78 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary Placement is based on relevant experience.
Schedule
6.5 hours/day; 5 days/week
