Before/After School Pre-K/ Elementary Group Leader

About the role

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As an AlphaBEST Group Leader at Eyestone Elementary School (4000 Wilson Ave, Wellington, CO 80549), you'll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 am – 8:00 am and/or 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Make child safety the top priority at all times and follow all procedures closely.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old and have a minimum of 460 verifiable hours of experience with children (ages 4+).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by CO childcare licensing regulations.
• Proof of experience as required by CO childcare licensing regulations.
