Responsibilities

  • Serve canned, bottled, and draft beer selections in a timely and professional manner.
  • Pour and serve beverages responsibly in accordance with company serving standards and portion guidelines.
  • Meet company standards of excellence in guest service, teamwork, and uniform appearance.
  • Follow all stand pre-shift instructions, menus, and service guidelines as assigned.
  • Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with all company policies and applicable state and federal alcohol service regulations.
  • Verify guest identification in compliance with state and federal regulations to confirm legal drinking age requirements.
  • Communicate and enforce alcohol service cut-offs when necessary.
  • Beer servers are expected to assist in de-escalating situations involving intoxicated guests.
  • If a guest becomes confrontational, disruptive, or uses excessive profanity, management or security should be contacted immediately.
  • Monitor guest behavior and report any concerns.
  • Request additional product inventory and restock supplies as needed to maintain efficient service.
  • Accurately process guest transactions through the point-of-sale system.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized workstation at all times.
  • Ensure all beer stands equipment is properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including stand setup and breakdown, stocking supplies, and organizing cooler inventory.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid RBS Alcohol Certification as required by California State Law.
  • Must have a valid California Food Handler Certificate as required by State Law.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by reporting to work in clean, neat attire and following company standards for grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Able to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and reliability.
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of and ability to understand, interpret, and follow company policies and procedures.
