Beds and Therapeutic Surfaces Sales Specialist
About the role
The Specialty Equipment Specialist drives strategic sales initiatives in an assigned territory, focusing on identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities. This role is accountable for designing and executing a territory plan centered around Agiliti Specialty Equipment Solutions within the Equipment Value Management (EVM) framework, including rentals, on-site managed programs, and clinical engineering services for fall prevention, skin injury prevention, bariatric safety, early mobility, and patient handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and quarterly territory goals aligned with long-term strategic objectives.
- Manage time and resources efficiently to meet deadlines using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Leverage local Territory Executives and cross-functional experts to execute growth strategies.
- Adapt sales processes to customer needs and buying behaviors, delivering clear and compelling messaging.
- Identify, qualify, and close business opportunities while strategically assessing and optimizing the territory sales plan.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by resolving problems, exceeding expectations, and conducting business reviews.
- Manage external relationships with hospital administration, management, and clinicians through regular on-site visits.
- Translate the benefits of Agiliti’s solutions to decision-makers based on their individual needs and business challenges.
- Articulate how the EVM framework improves equipment workflows, quality, cost, and patient experiences in hospitals.
- Stay current on Agiliti’s service offerings and sales trainings.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional internal relationships.
- Understand and communicate Sales Incentive Plans, budgets, and District Profits & Losses.
- Demonstrate competency in clinical equipment, hospital finance, reimbursement, regulatory, and safety practices.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree required; clinical discipline focus preferred.
- 2+ years of healthcare sales or related experience.
- Specialty equipment sales experience (e.g., patient handling, wound care, bariatric).
- Experience in a team-based selling environment preferred.
- Previous experience selling services is preferred.
- Availability to travel up to 60%.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record per Agiliti policies.

Pay
Pay range: $200,000.00 (base salary + target incentive pay). The actual pay offered may vary based on geographic location, experience, job-related knowledge, and skills.
Schedule
This role requires up to 60% travel.
Primary location: Fullerton, California.
