About the role

Cloninger Ford is part of a trusted dealership group committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience at every touchpoint. With locations in Hickory and Morganton, we pride ourselves on professionalism, team culture, and a customer-first mindset. We're currently looking for a full-time salaried BDC Representative to join our team in Hickory and support both locations.

Job Type & Pay

Job Type: Full-time, Salaried
Location: Based out of the Hickory store
Coverage: Responsible for handling BDC needs for both Hickory and Morganton dealerships

Schedule

Monday to Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed

Work Location

In person, Hickory, NC

Travel

Occasional travel to Morganton store (as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to internet, phone, and chat inquiries from potential customers
  • Schedule and confirm sales appointments for both Hickory and Morganton stores
  • Conduct follow-ups with unsold showroom traffic, internet leads, and incoming calls
  • Accurately document customer interactions and updates in the CRM
  • Collaborate with the sales managers and teams at both locations to ensure smooth handoffs
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times
  • Stay up to date with dealership promotions, incentives, and inventory changes

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a BDC, customer service, or sales support role preferred
  • Automotive industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Strong phone and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
  • Able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
