About the role
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavior analytic services to students with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities within the District.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on data-driven decision making
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans
- Evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make adjustments as needed
- Provide training and consultation to staff on behavior analytic principles and strategies
- Participate in team meetings and other professional development opportunities
Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, School Psychology, or related field
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
Qualifications
- Preferred CT Certification in Special Education, School Psychologist, or School Social Worker
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Proficiency in using data collection and analysis tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
