BCBA - Board Certified Behavior Analyst

About the role

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide behavior analytic services to students with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities within the District.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on data-driven decision making
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to inform interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement behavior support plans
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans and make adjustments as needed
  • Provide training and consultation to staff on behavior analytic principles and strategies
  • Participate in team meetings and other professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, School Psychology, or related field
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other disabilities
  • Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams

Qualifications

  • Preferred CT Certification in Special Education, School Psychologist, or School Social Worker

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
  • Proficiency in using data collection and analysis tools
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
