About the role
Provide behavior analytic services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Implement evidence-based interventions to improve social communication, reduce challenging behaviors, and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on functional behavioral assessments
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies
- Train and supervise paraprofessionals and family members in implementing evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
- Evaluate progress toward goals and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
- Document all sessions and maintain accurate records
Requirements
- Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or closely related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Proficiency in using software for data management and reporting
- Knowledge of ethical standards in ABA practice
