BCBA- Board Certified Behavior Analyst

About the role

Provide behavior analytic services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Implement evidence-based interventions to improve social communication, reduce challenging behaviors, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on functional behavioral assessments
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and analyze data to inform intervention strategies
• Train and supervise paraprofessionals and family members in implementing evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
• Evaluate progress toward goals and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Document all sessions and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or closely related field
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
• Experience working with individuals with ASD and other developmental disabilities
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

• Experience with data collection and analysis
• Proficiency in using software for data management and reporting
• Knowledge of ethical standards in ABA practice
