About the role
We are seeking an experienced Behavior Analyst to lead clinical programming at Y.A.L.E. School Philadelphia. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology or a closely related field, along with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or board eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of clinical programming within Y.A.L.E. School Philadelphia’s classrooms
- Development of function-based interventions and behavior support plans
- Direct student contact and observations across multiple classrooms
- Training and supervision of teachers and teaching assistants
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, families, and other professionals
- Program development emphasizing student skill development, independence, and behavior reduction
- Proactive approach to ongoing student skill development and meeting IEP objectives
- Proficient in behavior management strategies and Applied Behavior Analysis
- Experience working with students exhibiting complex behavior disorders, including aggressive and self-injurious behaviors
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in clinical service delivery and supervision
- Experience implementing evidence-based procedures for individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors
- Knowledge of and experience with crisis intervention
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis and clinical application of ABA
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Proven training and direct experience with behavior management strategies
- Experience in program management and supervising and training staff
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology or closely related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or board eligibility
- Approved background check requirements
- Successful completion of employer-provided certification crisis intervention
Skills
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis
- Experience with clinical application of ABA in diverse populations
- Expertise in behavior support planning and intervention development
- Proficiency in behavior management strategies
- Knowledge of the science of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with students exhibiting challenging behaviors
