Description
Reporting to the Special Education Supervisor, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst is responsible for designing and implementing therapy programs to help treat patients with mental, social or learning disorders. In addition, the Behavior Analyst conducts student assessments, decides on the most appropriate intervention, and delivers effective treatment.
- Conducting initial consultations with the student, where you may perform diagnostic assessments.
- Meting with families, educators, and other collateral to obtain better insight into students' presenting concerns, as needed.
- Formulating an appropriate treatment plan that is sensitive to students' cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.
- Administering treatment and tailoring interventions, as needed.
- Suggesting additional treatment by other professionals, as required.
What You’ll Do
- Create documents using MS Office Power Point, Excel, and Word.
- Advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society.
- Attend IEP meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, applied behavior analysis, or similar; required.
- BCBA Certificate through Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- Accreditation as a behavior analyst or suitable equivalent.
- Proven experience as a behavior analyst.
- In-depth knowledge of and thorough adherence to applicable ethical codes.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Pay
$40 - $50 per hour
