Summary
About the role
Responsible for production of all BBQ Protein food prep.
Responsibilities
- Follow recipe guidelines and specs to ensure consistency and quality of BBQ Protein Food Prep
- Maintain proper food storage, rotation, and organization
- Ensure food levels are consistent with business volume and needs
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards including time and temperature tracking, cooling, and product rotation
- Ensure Guest Satisfaction and Overall Experience
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed and necessary
Requirements
- 2+ years of Front and/or Back of the house experience in a high-volume, full-service food environment preferred but not required
- Cannot be convicted of a felony
- Able to multi-task and quickly think on your feet
- Able to compute basic mathematical calculations
- Able to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy
- Able to be self-motivated and take initiative
- Able to enforce company’s standards, policies, and procedures
- Able to prioritize and organize work assignments, delegate work
- Possess good communication skills to deal with staff
- Able to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment
- Able to maintain a neat and clean appearance and convey self-confidence
- Able to stand or walk constantly, 100% of shift
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, lift, push and pull materials throughout shift
