Battery Preventive Maintenance Person, PM- Jacksonville

About the role

Performing preventative maintenance on a variety of powered industrial equipment batteries according to company policy; federal, state, and local regulations; repair manuals; factory specifications; and his or her own knowledge of the powered industrial equipment batteries.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of powered industrial equipment batteries
• Avoid violating federal, state, and local regulations
• Repair and replace batteries as needed
• Assist in other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old or at least 19 years old for positions in Alabama
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
• Successfully complete the following tests before starting the position:
• Computation
• Following Written Directions
• Space Visualization
• Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
• Capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system
• Work well with others and be a team member

Qualifications

• Current Industrial Maintenance associate preferred
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle on or before start date in the position
