Battery Preventative Maintenance Person, PM - McCalla, AL

About the Role

Performing preventative maintenance on a variety of powered industrial equipment batteries according to company policy; federal, state, and local regulations; repair manuals; factory specifications; and knowledge of the powered industrial equipment batteries. Assisting in other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old or at least 19 years old for positions in Alabama
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems
• Successfully complete the following tests (before start date):
  • Computation
  • Following Written Directions
  • Space Visualization
  • Mechanical Aptitude
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions
• Capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance-management system
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Industrial Maintenance associate
• Have a valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle on or before start date
