Battery Preventative Maintenance Person, PM - Greensboro

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of powered industrial equipment batteries according to company policy; federal, state, and local regulations; repair manuals; factory specifications; and personal knowledge of the equipment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old (or at least 19 years old for positions in Alabama).
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
• Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and solve math problems.
• Successfully complete the following tests before start date: Computation, Following Written Directions, Space Visualization, Mechanical Aptitude.
• Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions.
• Capable of generating and processing work on a computerized maintenance‑management system.
• Ability to work well with others and be a team member.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness and ability to advance.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Industrial Maintenance associate.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive a company vehicle on or before the start date.
