About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching boys in Grade 6 basketball at Crestview Middle School.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive basketball program for Grade 6 students.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive school culture.
- Attend all school meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in physical education or a related field.
- At least three years of teaching/coaching experience at the middle school level.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules and strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
Skills
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$45,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional evening and weekend commitments as needed.
