Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and instruction in the sport of basketball
- Develop and implement practice plans and game strategies
- Supervise student-athletes during practices and games
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and academic success
- Maintain equipment and facilities
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration
Requirements
- Previous coaching experience at the middle school or high school level
- Knowledge of basketball rules, techniques, and strategies
- Ability to pass background check and complete required training
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor young athletes
- Commitment to the academic and athletic development of student-athletes
