Basketball Assistant Coach/Girls Position at Naples High School.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement basketball training programs for girls.
• Collaborate with the head coach to enhance team performance.
• Work closely with players to improve their skills and strategies.
• Attend all scheduled games and practices.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• One reference letter (not applicable to current CCPS staff).
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED).

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching basketball at the high school level.
• Strong understanding of basketball fundamentals and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Skills

• Strong leadership skills.
• Effective time management.
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
