Position: Basketball, Asst. Coach/Girls. Location: North Naples Middle. Season: WIN. FTE: 1.00.

Pay

Salary: SUA94.

Requirements

• Completed online application with required uploaded documents.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
• One reference letter (not required for current CCPS staff).
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification required. (Coaches holding current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.)
• Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED) certification.

The Florida Department of Education issues two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates: 3‑Year Temporary Certificate (issued only to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5‑Year Certificate; not renewable) and 5‑Year Athletic Coaching Certificate.

Who needs it:

• Coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but do NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
• Volunteer Coaches who are employees of Collier County Public Schools but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.
