Baseball Coach

About the role

TOCA is one of the largest D-BAT Franchise Operators in the US. D-BAT is a top indoor baseball and softball training facility, offering individual training, batting cages, clinics, and gear. As a D-BAT Trainer, you’ll teach skills and spread the love for the game in a high-energy, tech-savvy environment. You’ll help athletes of all levels through private lessons, camps, clinics, and batting cage rentals.

Responsibilities

• Training & Coaching (60%): Conduct one-on-one sessions, create tailored training plans, and review baseline data to help players of all levels improve.
• Client Engagement & Retention (25%): Build long-term relationships with players, parents, and coaches. Work with the team to retain current clients and re-engage past ones.
• Facility & Team Collaboration (15%): Maintain a clean and welcoming facility. Collaborate with the D-BAT Training Manager to foster a positive environment, review progress, and ensure consistency.

Requirements

• Experience playing or coaching baseball or softball at the college or professional level.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to make clients feel valued.
• Availability for a flexible schedule, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Passion for baseball and softball.

Schedule

Flexible hours, but must be available afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
