About the role
Vassalboro Community School is seeking a Baseball Coach to lead the grades 6-8 baseball program for the spring 2027 school year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive baseball curriculum for grades 6-8
- Manage team practices and games
- Work closely with students, parents, and other coaches to ensure a positive learning environment
- Ensure compliance with all school policies and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Experience coaching youth baseball
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel to home games and practices
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of current baseball teaching methods
