About the Role
Assistant Baseball Coach position at Barron Collier High School for the spring season.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
- 1 Reference Letter (does not apply to current CCPS staff).
- Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required.
- Coaches who hold current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.
- Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED).
- Completion of Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Qualifications
Two types of Athletic Coaching Certificates issued by the Florida Department of Education:
- 3-Year Temporary Certificate: Issued ONLY to give a coach the opportunity to complete the requirements for the 5-Year Certificate. It is NOT renewable.
- 5-Year Athletic Coaching Certificate:
- Required for coaches who are paid a supplement from the school District but DO NOT hold a Temporary or Professional Educator Certificate.
- Required for volunteer coaches who are employees of the Collier County Public Schools but do not hold a Temporary or Professional Educator’s Certification.

Pay
