About the role

The position involves assisting in the coaching of softball and a girls' position at Palmetto Ridge High School.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of softball and girls' position training programs.
• Work closely with the head coach to ensure the success of the team.
• Provide support to players both on and off the field.
• Participate in team meetings and other coaching responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
• One reference letter (does not apply to current CCPS staff).
• Current Florida Educator Certification or Athletic Coaching Certification is required.
• Basic Life Support Program (First Aid, CPR and AED).

Qualifications

• Coaches who hold current teaching certification do not need to obtain athletic coaching certification.
