We Embrace Empowerment We Honor Authenticity We Cultivate Collaboration We Prioritize Purpose Job Summary The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes, service standards, and applicable laws. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar while completing opening, closing, and side work to ensure efficient daily operations. Bartenders monitor guest alcohol consumption and serve beverages responsibly to help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members. All work is performed in compliance with applicable state liquor laws, health regulations, and Crystal Mountain Resort policies and procedures. Essential Duties Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar patrons and servers according to proceduresEnsure clean glassware, bar equipment and working areasAssess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendationsRestock and replenish bar inventory and suppliesNurture an excellent guest experienceComply with all food and beverage regulations as well as the regulations put forth by Washington Health and Liquor BoardsCheck identification of guests to verify they are of legal drinking ageRecord drink orders accurately into POS system and process paymentsRespond promptly to requests from customers in a polite and professional mannerArrange glasses and bottles into attractive and functional displaysComply with health, safety, and hygiene standards and policies Knowledge, Skill And Ability Requirements 2+ years of bartending experienceKnowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving beveragesPOS experience a plusPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to set up and keep bar organized and cleanMust have Washington MAST CardMust have Washington Food Handler Card PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS Must be able to maneuver and tap a full ½ barrel keg of up to 160lbs.This position is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays while in operation.Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
