Perks: Flexible schedulingHealth, Dental Insurance, & 401(k) matching, per plan requirementsPaid time off (after 1st year, if working an average of 20+ hours/week)Positive work environmentOpportunities for advancementStaff discounts Responsibilities: Engage with each customer to make them feel welcome and comfortable.Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus and special eventsSet up properly to ensure maximum efficiency when busyTake beverage and food orders and enter into POS accuratelyCreate drinks following house recipes and measuresFollow all restaurant protocols for "Washington House" serviceLook for positive solutions to inevitable difficult situationsPrepare checks and collect payment from guestsClean and sanitize appropriate areas in dining room and bar area to make sure each shift starts with a clean work spaceWork cooperatively with all front of house, back of house, hotel and theater staff to maintain a positive work environment at all times Requirements: Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast paced environmentWilling & able to a mixture of bartending, serving and private party shiftsAvailability to work varied hours/daysReliable transportation to and from workAbility to lift and carry heavy plates, boxes and dining room tables and chairs when necessaryExperience with building drinks, tending bar, maintaining a clean, well stocked, and efficient work areaAll of our employees work weekdays and weekends, and a combination of lunch and dinner shifts.
