Key Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Craft highquality cocktails, pour wines, and serve other beverages according to recipes and guest preferences, maintaining consistency and presentation standards.
- Table Service: Take food and drink orders, provide menu recommendations, and deliver prompt, courteous service to guests in a fastpaced dining environment.
- Guest Interaction: Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, address special requests, and resolve any concerns to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Bar Operations: Maintain a clean, organized bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about Pheasant Blue’s menu offerings, including food pairings, seasonal specials, and beverage options, to provide informed recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and other bartenders to ensure seamless service and coordination during busy periods.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, manage tabs, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Upselling: Promote specials, signature cocktails, and additional menu items to enhance guest experiences and increase revenue.
- Compliance: Adhere to all state and local alcohol service regulations, including checking IDs and monitoring responsible alcohol consumption.
- Event Support: Assist with private events, banquets, or special functions at Foxhall Resort as needed, providing bar and/or table service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 years of experience as a bartender and/or server in a highvolume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and beer, with the ability to craft classic and specialty cocktails.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic cashhandling procedures.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and carry trays of food and drinks.
- Valid alcohol service certification (e.g., Georgia Responsible Alcohol Server Training) preferred.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
