Bartender (Seasonal)

About the role

The Bartender is responsible for delivering extraordinary experiences to guests with positive, courteous, and professional service. As a Bartender, you will seek to understand guests' needs while preparing perfect beverages per spec in a timely manner. This role requires quick thinking, an engaging attitude, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Check identification to ensure guests are of legal age to purchase and/or consume alcohol and gamble.
• Discover guest needs and suggest beverages to enhance their experience and meet sales goals.
• Master all aspects of the bar to promote a well-run shift through proper preparation.
• Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to guests.
• Utilize proper equipment and ingredients.
• Maintain par levels of all stock and supplies, including garnishes, beer, wine, liquor, and barware.
• Maintain a clean work area by removing trash, cleaning the bar, washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Keep an accurate count of all money and comps received for guests and follow cash handling policies.
• Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Comply with state Gaming regulations, responsible gaming, and responsible alcohol rules and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience as a bartender preferred.
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Record of delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Effective communication skills.
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be available for various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
• Team player with a guest-first attitude.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be able to obtain a valid Casino Employee Registration license upon hire.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $19.00 - USD $19.00 per hour (tipped position).
