Bartender

About the role

The Bartender @ The Carnegie will prepare and serve beverages and food to residents with the utmost level of hospitality. Mixing and garnishing cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and following or creating cocktail recipes will fall under the Barkeepers responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Welcome residents to the bar area.
• Read and listen to residents to determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders.
• Plan drink menus and inform residents about new beverages and specials.
• Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to residents.
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.

Requirements

• Bring a smile to work every day.

• Be a progressive and creative thinker.
• High school graduate preferred.
• At least 2 years of bartending experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• At least 2 years of bartending experience.

Skills

• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.
