Bartender - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers
• Ring guest checks, collect cash and process credits and room charges
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists
• Ensure established pars are maintained
• Perform sidework duties according to schedules

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages
• Lifting capacity: 20 - 40 lbs. for trays, dish racks, glass racks; 50 - 100 lbs. for carts, Queen Marys, hotbox, portable bar
• Continuous standing required for 100% of the shift
• Ability to maneuver in narrow areas and between seated guests
• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
• Highly organized and able to pay attention to detail
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Able to handle multiple tasks at once
• Able to deal with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and emotionally charged situations
• Able to accurately count cash and operate a cash register

Qualifications

• Bartending training and certification
• TIPS Certified
• 6 months of bartending experience

Pay

USD $16.27 - USD $16.27 /Hr.

Schedule

Shifts vary based on the needs of the hotel and may include AM, PM, weekends, and holidays.
