About the role
As a Non-Tipped Bartender at Sodexo, you will provide exceptional customer service and mix and serve drinks to patrons, either directly or through waitstaff, quickly and without waste. Bartenders must work well with waitstaff and other employees to ensure customers receive prompt service. Responsibilities may vary between accounts, depending on business needs and client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and create drink recipes with appropriate garnishes.
- Ensure the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed to mix drinks and serve customers.
- Prepare accurate opening counts and issue inventory or purchase orders as needed to replenish supplies.
- Maintain a friendly, diplomatic, and attentive demeanor when dealing with customers.
- Walk or move around frequently during shifts, which may exceed 8 hours.
- Stand or walk for extended periods throughout the duration of a shift.
- Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and frequently lifting up to 35 pounds, occasionally lifting/moving 50 pounds.
- Perform repetitive movements.
- Report to work and present for scheduled shifts on time and with regularity.
- Perform other assigned tasks, which may vary between accounts based on business needs and client requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma, General Education Diploma (GED), or equivalent experience.
- 0 to 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to prepare a wide range of drink recipes and mix drinks correctly (preferred).
- Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol or work as a bartender according to local and state regulations.
Pay
$20 per hour
