Job Summary

Ignite your career in the heart of downtown Phoenix at Caesar's Sportsbook & Restaurant! Alongside Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks, we’re seeking passionate individuals to join our team.

• Greet guests promptly in a friendly manner
• Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Prepares and stocks bar areas with all products including beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, etc.
• Maintains stocks, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
• Distributes menus and presents the daily specials; answer questions regarding the menu
• Takes accurate food and beverage orders, ensures food and beverages are served in a timely manner
• Checks guests at bar for proper identification; adheres to Responsible Alcohol Service policy and alcohol service regulations
• Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained
• Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized
• Completes opening and closing duties including cleaning tasks in assigned area and preparation tasks
• Prepares guests checks and collects payment; adheres to Levy Payment Integrity Policy
• Assists with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning duties, inventory management, and preparation tasks
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills

• Excellent customer service skills; ability to interact professionally and effectively
• Proficient in mixology, with the ability to prepare a variety of classic and custom cocktails; knowledge of drink recipes, garnishes, and alcohol types
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and cash-handling experience
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, best practices, and sanitation requirements
• This position may require the following valid certifications; ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Maricopa County approved Food Handler certification
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for stadium events

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the restaurant and/or sports entertainment industry
• Previous bartender experience preferred

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, ranging 6-12 hours, during events or as required by operational demands
• Must be able to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing, ascending/descending stairs, as necessary
• Frequently required to use fingers and hands to operate equipment
• Exposure to heat, steam, and cold temperatures within the kitchen environment
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
