Responsibilities
- Foster a fun environment for guests and coworkers.
- Serve as a gracious host to all guests and coworkers.
- Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company‑sponsored events.
- Ensure guest interactions follow the ACES Service Program guidelines.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as needed per company policy and T.I.P.S. training.
- Promote gaming events and promotions.
- Process cash and credit‑card transactions while maintaining financial controls.
- Prepare and pour drinks with measured portions, following recipes and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain par levels on garnishes, ice, mixers, fresh fruit, and herbs.
- Keep the workstation clean, sanitized, and stocked.
- Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
- Make drinks for servers when requested.
- Serve tables, clear tables, expedite food, and run food orders.
- Perform side‑work as directed by the Food and Beverage Supervisor or Manager.
- Work special events as needed.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Understanding of drink mixology and recipes.
- Enjoy hosting and initiating conversations to create a fun environment.
- Ability to promptly and accurately follow supervisor or manager instructions.
- Must qualify for licensing by the Ohio Lottery Commission.
- Team‑player with a guest‑first mindset.
- Ability to tolerate a high‑stimulus, fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- One‑year cumulative experience as a bartender, bar back, or server, or completion of bartending school, plus a high school diploma or equivalent.
- English reading, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning ability to make quick, reasonable decisions regarding patron and team‑member interactions.
- Ability to obtain required federal, state, and local licenses and permits.
- Physical demands: regularly stand, use hands, reach, talk/hear; vision requirements include close, color, and peripheral vision.
- Work environment: very loud noise level, audio surveillance in limited areas, possible exposure to second‑hand tobacco smoke.

Pay
Starting salary: $8.00 per hour.
Schedule
Open availability required, including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
