About the role
Under the direct supervision of the F&B Manager/Supervisor, this position mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge, located at the top of a 729 ft. picturesque waterfall and the starting point of the Appalachian Trail.
Responsibilities
- Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
- Collects money for drinks served
- Requisitions liquors and supplies
- Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
- Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks
- Informs guests of all food, beverage, and bar promotions
- Adheres to accounting practices and standards
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of bar area
- Works closely with the kitchen in the serving of food
- Breaks down bar, locks up liquor, and stores fruit and juices properly
- Recognizes and addresses over-indulgence of alcoholic beverages by customers
- Complies with laws of the State of Georgia
- Performs other duties as assigned by managers/supervisors
