Bartender - Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge

About the role

Under the direct supervision of the F&B Manager/Supervisor, this position mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge, located at the top of a 729 ft. picturesque waterfall and the starting point of the Appalachian Trail.

Responsibilities

• Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
• Collects money for drinks served
• Requisitions liquors and supplies
• Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
• Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks
• Informs guests of all food, beverage, and bar promotions
• Adheres to accounting practices and standards
• Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of bar area
• Works closely with the kitchen in the serving of food
• Breaks down bar, locks up liquor, and stores fruit and juices properly
• Recognizes and addresses over-indulgence of alcoholic beverages by customers
• Complies with laws of the State of Georgia
• Performs other duties as assigned by managers/supervisors
