Barback - Service Bar - Greensburg

Responsibilities

• Organizes and stocks bars with major supplies and beverage products.
• Assists bartenders in serving beverages to guests.
• Maintains service stations, cleanliness of bars, and restocks to par.
• Puts beverage orders away in correct locations, restocks pump room, soda room, and changes out kegs as needed.
• Affords guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Stocks main coolers with all beverage products.
• Shovels ice from ice machine into ice bins.
• Maintains deep cleaning of all beverage areas and equipment.
• Ensures compliance with all state, federal, and company liquor regulations.
• Abides by company and department specific appearance standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed

• Must be able to work in smoke-filled environments.
• Must be RAMP certified.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain licensure as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Programs.
• Requires working nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

Physical Requirements

• 24/7 operation requiring extended hours.
• Ability to stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
• Handling, carrying, or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms.
• Work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
• Use of near vision, see details at close range.
• Use of going up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and elevators.

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high-energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.
• Exposure to alcohol, cigarette, and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• Occasionally works in an environment where smoking is allowed.
