Barback - Service Bar

About the role

Responsible for organizing and stocking the bars with major supplies and beverage products.

The core service standards are CLEAN, SAFE, FAST, FRIENDLY, and FUN, which involve making the property shine, ensuring guest safety and comfort, providing efficient service, greeting guests with a friendly welcome, and creating a fun experience for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Assists bartenders in the service of beverages to guests.
• Maintains service stations, cleanliness of bars and re-stocks to par.
• Puts beverage orders away in correct locations, re-stocking of pump room, soda room, and changing out kegs as needed.
• Assists guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Stocks main coolers with all beverage products.
• Shovels ice from ice machine into ice bins.
• Maintains deep cleaning of all beverage areas and equipment.
• Abides by all State, Federal, and Company liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Ensures compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
• Understands all PLCB regulations.
• Abides by company and department specific appearance standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work in smoke filled environments.
• Must be RAMP certified.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain licensure as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
• Must have thorough knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program.
• Required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• No facial tattoos.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Requirements

24/7 operation requiring extended hours and the ability and willingness meet the applicant's schedules when needed.

The casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.

Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning, handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds, and climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.

Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels, use near vision, see details at close range, and go up and down 31 stairs multiple times per day and use elevators.

Working Conditions

24/7 high energy casino with over 100,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 500 employees.

Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises, and may occasionally work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
