Essential Responsibilities
- Showcase an inherent desire to take care of others.
- Support bartenders by stocking and replenishing liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, glassware, and garnishes throughout service.
- Maintain ice levels, keg changes, draft lines, and beverage stations so the bar stays ahead of volume during peak periods.
- Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and restocking sidework to ensure service readiness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, service wells, back bar, coolers, and storage areas, clearing glassware, trash, and recycling promptly throughout service.
- Prepare garnishes, juices, and batched mixers to recipe, and label, date, and rotate product according to standards.
- Follow all responsible alcohol service, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Respond to guest inquiries or comments in a professional and courteous manner, escalating concerns to the bartender or leadership as appropriate.
- Support the bar and restaurant team during peak service periods with urgency and a collaborative mindset.
- Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings to stay informed on menu, beverage, and service expectations.

- All other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or service role preferred.
- Must meet state and federal minimum age requirements for handling and serving alcohol.
Education/Formal Training
- High school education or equivalent.
Physical Demands
- Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs. including kegs, cases of product, ice bins, glass racks, and small equipment up to 75% of the time.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and kneeling to retrieve product from low storage, stock coolers, and restock wells.
- Mobility - full range of mobility with the ability to travel up to 300 feet on a regular basis during the shift.
- Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Must have hearing ability to communicate with guests, supervisors, and staff.
- Must have vision ability to ensure product and service standards are met.
- Must be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of guest service problems, including stressful and emotional situations.
Environment
- Physically demanding role with prolonged standing, walking, lifting, and carrying in an indoor bar and restaurant environment, including exposure to wet, cold, and noisy conditions.
