Barback

Responsibilities

• Support bar operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, stock levels, and operational readiness.
• Aid bartenders and service teams in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Assist in multiple food & beverage outlets including restaurant, lounge, pool, banquet, and special events.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all bar and service areas.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of beverage offerings and outlet operations.
• Operate and maintain bar equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, safety, and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Respond to guest requests and operational needs.
• Support banquet, pool, lounge, restaurant, and special event operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and back-of-house beverage spaces.
• Communicate and work effectively with team members.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and departmental lineups.
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, professional appearance, and grooming standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction through professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Previous barback, restaurant, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Previous high-volume or multi-outlet food & beverage experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with professional interaction.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and remain organized.
• Positive, professional, and service-oriented demeanor.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and frequently move up to 20 pounds.
• Evening, weekend, holiday, and flexible shift availability required.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all guest and operational matters.
