Maxime’s is a private member’s club by entrepreneur Robin Birley, located on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, New York City. We are seeking a Barback to join our world- class hospitality brigade. The Barback support the Bartenders with all preparation aspects, restocking, and maintaining cleanliness. They also work closely with all front- and back-of-house team members to uphold the standards of the bar program and create a welcoming atmosphere, elevating Maxime’s brand and service standards at all times. What We’re Looking For Proven success as a Barback/Beverage Support within fine dining, Michelin-star establishments, or luxury hotel settings.Knowledge of bar service as well as culinary concepts and terminology.Capable of preparing bar for service by filling wells with ice; preparing fruit trays; restocking the bar with beer, liquor, wine, glassware, and juices; and stocking trash cans and towels; properly rotates products and ensures perishable items are labeled; regularly checks the draught beers to make sure kegs are functional; changes kegs as needed in accordance with safety standards.Adheres to all Department of Health and Safety standards related to food and beverage handling, hygiene, and alcohol service.Thrives in high- end environments, consistently upholding superior service standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.Capable of operating autonomously with minimal oversight.Maintains a professional, upbeat demeanor and embraces a collaborative, team-oriented approach.TIPS certification required.Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, per the needs of the business.
