About the role
The Banquets Housecleaner / Set-up is responsible for set up and break down of tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags for meeting and banquet functions indoors and outdoors. This is a non-exempt position, eligible to receive overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). This position may be subject to overtime during high peak times as directed and approved by the supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Break down, set up, and move tables, chairs, risers, podiums, and flags
- Clean tables, chairs, podiums, floors, inside and outside
- Put linens on tables
- Refresh meeting rooms with water, pens, pads, etc.
- Perform other duties as required to exceed guests' expectations
Requirements
- At least 3 months’ experience in a restaurant, banquet, or room set-up position
- Ability to:
- follow oral and written instructions
- maintain standards listed
- read and comprehend a set-up diagram
- exceed guest expectations
- Good public contact skills
- Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands
- Lifting up to 75 pounds frequently
- Heavy cleaning
- High and low dusting
- Transporting objects weighing up to 60 pounds
- A great amount of walking in all types of weather
- Lifting, standing, and bending up to 8+ hours daily
Schedule
Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
