Banquet Set-Up

Full time position at Hotel Stamford Doubletree, 1 First Stamford Place, Stamford, CT 06902. Compensation range starts at $21.00 per hour, determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down meeting and banquet rooms based on event orders and high cleanliness standards.
• Keep event spaces refreshed and guest-ready throughout the day (including coffee breaks).
• Help transport supplies and materials such as boxes, programs, or décor.
• Support food and beverage service by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and solve small issues with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Requirements

• Strength and stamina to lift and move up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for most of the shift.
• Attention to detail to ensure event perfection.
• Clear communication skills to follow instructions and collaborate with the team and kitchen staff.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-first attitude, thriving in a collaborative environment.
