Banquet Server On-Call

About the role

Serve meals to patrons for banquet and catering functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare function room for banquet function; set tables and place settings.
• Serve drink of choice to guests.
• Garnish and decorate dishes prior to serving.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when meal has been completed.
• Suggest desserts, beverages, and after-dinner drinks.
• Ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies and desserts, brew coffee, and perform other services as needed.
• Clear and reset tables at conclusion of each course.
• Adhere to Sonesta Service Standards and all Sonesta Safety and Sanitation Standards.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by management.

Pay

$9.39 to $11.39 per hour, eligible for gratuities. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and job-specific or overall experience.
