Banquet Server - On Call

About the role

We are looking for a service-driven On Call Banquet Server to join our food & beverage team at the Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional service with genuine care and attention to detail.
• Exercise a sense of urgency for guest inquiries, requests, and concerns.
• Be knowledgeable in menu offerings and preparations.
• Submit and deliver food orders, acting as a liaison between the guest and kitchen team.
• Understand Banquet Event Orders to execute setups and breakdowns safely and efficiently.
• Complete all assigned prep and side work with attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Handle cash and utilize a POS (Point of Sale) system as applicable.
• Assist team members to encourage a team atmosphere.
• Take pride in your role to embody an exceptional guest service atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
