Banquet Server - On-call

About the role

Miraval Austin Resort and Spa, a 30‑year iconic brand dedicated to well‑being, is seeking an On‑Call Banquet Server. You will work in a setting that values balance, mindfulness, and care, with access to fitness centers, hiking trails, wellness programs, and professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and drink service at hotel banquet functions.
• Ensure the function space is visually appealing and present the menu offering for the event.
• Set up linen and table settings, design food stations, and handle beverage service.
• Perform general banquet preparation and room refreshes.
• Maintain a sanitary environment throughout the event.

Qualifications

• Open availability with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 pounds).
• Team‑oriented work style.
• Previous banquet experience preferred but not required.
• Food Handler’s Certification and TABC Certification required or must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
