About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Banquet Manager to join our vibrant team and play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable guest experiences. As an integral part of the leadership team, you will drive excellence in service, operations, and guest satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic leader who thrives in high-volume environments (200-300 covers), has a passion for events and banquets, and understands the nuances of both restaurant and hotel food & beverage service.
Responsibilities
- Lead Daily Operations - Oversee all aspects of F&B operations, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience across the restaurant, banquets, and room service.
- Mentor & Develop the Team - Cultivate a positive work culture, inspire excellence, and provide ongoing training and growth opportunities for staff.
- Drive Guest Experience - Maintain service standards that exceed expectations, creating memorable moments for every guest.
- Financial & P&L Management - Support the Restaurant General Manager in budgeting, cost control, and achieving revenue goals.
- Community Engagement - Partner with local farmers, vendors, and businesses to source high-quality, sustainable ingredients and build meaningful community relationships.
- Problem-Solving & Communication - Proactively address challenges and maintain clear, effective communication across all teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in an upscale environment.
- Proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, cost control, and menu development.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with team members, guests, and community partners.
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating memorable guest experiences.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
