Banquet Manager

Distinctive Hospitality Group is seeking an accomplished and experienced Banquet Manager to join our 4-Diamond establishment in Natick, MA.

About the Role

The Banquet Manager will oversee all banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction that meet the high standards expected of a distinguished 4-Diamond property. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously to create memorable and luxurious experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Manage banquet event operations from start to finish, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all services uphold 4-Diamond quality standards
• Coordinate with clients, catering staff, and vendors to ensure seamless and impeccable event delivery
• Train, supervise, and schedule banquet staff to maintain exceptional service standards consistent with 4-Diamond hospitality
• Monitor inventory and supplies meticulously to guarantee smooth event execution
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on luxury guest experiences
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, reflecting the highest industry standards
• Prepare and manage banquet budgets, including forecasting and cost control while maintaining premium service quality
• Maintain accurate event records and documentation in accordance with 4-Diamond operational procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or similar role in a luxury or 4-Diamond hospitality environment
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on delivering upscale guest services
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple high-profile events
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills tailored to a discerning clientele
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
• Knowledge of banquet event management software is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management preferred
