Banquet Manager

The Role

The Banquet Manager ensures the customer's banquet needs are safely and efficiently met by following the customer's requests. By paying close attention to details, we strive to exceed their expectations. Providing excellent customer service with a smile is a must! We want our guests to feel good about their experience so that they will tell others and become a loyal customer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all banquet events are executed according to customer specifications
• Manage inventory and supplies to meet event requirements
• Oversee purchasing of necessary items for events
• Train and supervise banquet servers
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and service

Requirements

• Knowledge and ability to perform all aspects of restaurant service
• High aptitude in working with numbers and efficient use of a calculator
• Inventory & Supplies - knowledge of inventory tracking and control procedures
• Purchasing - knowledge of projecting for and ordering supplies

Qualifications

• Experience as a Banquet Server required
• Additional experience as a Banquet Captain or supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience
