About the role
Woodland Heights Senior Living is seeking a Dining Manager to lead the dining services department. This position reports directly to the Dining Service Director and plays a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for residents.Responsibilities
- Maintain and enforce high service standards for servers, including proper table settings and uniform.
- Monitor reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining room efficiency and resident satisfaction.
- Assist the Dining Manager in planning and implementing training programs for servers.
- Oversee inventory of dining room supplies such as linens, glassware, flatware, and equipment.
- Ensure the Bistro area is stocked, cleaned, and in an orderly fashion.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment emphasizing teamwork and excellence.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Experience with seniors preferred but not required.
- Excellent attendance.
- Must be tactful, patient, and courteous.
