About the role

Woodland Heights Senior Living is seeking a Dining Manager to lead the dining services department. This position reports directly to the Dining Service Director and plays a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enforce high service standards for servers, including proper table settings and uniform.
  • Monitor reservations and seating arrangements to optimize dining room efficiency and resident satisfaction.
  • Assist the Dining Manager in planning and implementing training programs for servers.
  • Oversee inventory of dining room supplies such as linens, glassware, flatware, and equipment.
  • Ensure the Bistro area is stocked, cleaned, and in an orderly fashion.
  • Foster a positive and professional work environment emphasizing teamwork and excellence.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Experience with seniors preferred but not required.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Must be tactful, patient, and courteous.
